GLASSBOUND INK

Handmade Fused & Stained Glass

Hi there,

Happy Halloween. The pumpkins come down tomorrow, and the holiday glass is ready for whatever goes up next.

The holiday sale is still on. Code HOLIDAY15 takes 15% off handmade glass in the shop through December 15. The button below applies it for you, so there is nothing to type. It covers the handmade glass only, not the printed merch or the books.

New this week: Cobalt Blue Fused Glass Dish with Green Diamond, $65

Rich cobalt-blue glass frames a layered green diamond in this handmade rectangular fused glass dish. The raised geometric center combines streaks of green with a dark ribbed inset, and gently lifted edges give the piece its sculptural shape. It measures 11.5 by 7.5 inches. Set it on a table, shelf or dresser, or use it as a catchall for small everyday treasures. You will receive the exact piece photographed.

Also new, and also cobalt: a slumped Risata wine bottle ($30). The flattened bottle keeps its original Moscato d'Asti lettering and grape-leaf design, and the back carries textured bee, crown and botanical details. About 12 by 5 inches, for a shelf or tabletop.

For the tree

Three pieces from the Holiday Gift Shop for anyone already thinking about December: the fused glass wreath ornament ($25), kiln-fused and ready to hang on a glitter-blue or "Merry Christmas" red ribbon; the 10-inch fused glass Christmas tree ($25), clear glass set with red, green and white confetti glass; and the 5-inch glass snowflakes on ribbon ($8 each), kiln-cast in clear, white, green, red and blue.

Care, in one line. Wipe the glass gently with a soft cloth, skip harsh cleaners and sudden temperature changes, and hang ornaments where they will not swing into anything hard.
