How it works
- Send your request with the form below.
- I reply within 24 hours and send your quote in writing. You pay nothing until you've seen it.
- I send a design sketch. You get 2 free rounds of changes.
- You approve the sketch and pay a 50% deposit. Then I start cutting glass.
- The other 50% is due before your piece ships or is picked up.
Pricing
- Custom pieces start at $95.
- Stained glass is priced by size and complexity: $0.75 per square inch for simple designs, $1.00 for moderate and $1.40 for complex designs or specialty glass.
- A $35 design fee is added. It is credited toward your piece.
- Fused glass is quoted per piece, based on the closest shop listing.
- Every quote is confirmed in writing before you pay.
Timing
- Most custom pieces take 3 to 4 weeks.
- From November 1 through December, allow 5 to 6 weeks.
- I take 3 custom pieces at a time (2 during the holidays). If I'm booked, I'll tell you the next open start date and offer a waitlist spot.
Deposit, changes and refunds
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is due when you approve the design sketch. No glass is cut until it's paid.
- You get 2 free rounds of design changes before you approve the sketch. Changes after that are quoted as an add-on.
- Custom pieces can't be refunded. If a piece arrives broken or defective, I'll repair or remake it.
Shipping and pickup
- Custom pieces are shipped separately from the shop's free shipping offer.
- Shipping cost depends on size and weight, and every package is fully insured.
- Pickup in Springville, Utah is free.
What I don't make
- Copyrighted or trademarked characters, logos or sports teams
- Pieces over 24 inches on the longest side
- Installed or structural windows
- Pieces needed in under 2 weeks
- Hateful or explicit content
- Fused glass sold as food-safe
If your idea is on this list, ask anyway. I'll often suggest an original piece with the same feel.
